PROJECT DESCRIPTION

New data centre for 2 Degrees within an existing building which was fully refurbished as part of the works. The Data Centre has been designed for 2N+1 resiliency for all major Building Services including HVAC plant, Main Switchboards, Telecommunications Lead-in’s, Back-up generators, etc

The main challenge for the project was to upgrade the building’s shell into a top-of-the-range data centre with extensive add-on capacity, while keeping a lid on initial capital investment. A brownfield site, the data centre was located near key telecommunication and power infrastructure. For the initial phase, Agile carried out the due diligence, concept development and feasibility study of the data warehouse.
