PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Agile provided Green Star Professional and sustainability advisory services for a 2,800 sqm freight and logistics facility at Ruakura Superhub, including a 1,890 sqm loading canopy and 250 sqm office space. The building was designed to achieve a 4 Green Star rating, with a focus on sustainable outcomes aligned to operational requirements.
The facility supports efficient freight handling, with a layout that separates warehouse, loading, and office functions. Agile’s role focused on guiding sustainability initiatives within the project, ensuring environmental targets were incorporated into both design and delivery.
Sustainability measures included provisions for future solar installation and supporting the transition to electric forklifts, reducing emissions and improving internal air quality. These initiatives contribute to a lower-impact, future-ready facility that supports both operational performance and environmental objectives.
