PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The new 3450m2 Countdown supermarket at Richmond has a Green Star 4 rating and is New Zealand’s first supermarket to be accredited by Green Star – an internationally-recognised rating system for the design, construction and operation of buildings, fitouts and communities. The store also has ‘transcritical’ refrigeration, LED lighting, energy and water metering, a connected energy management system, uses solar energy, sustainable procurement and materials and water-conservation measures.

Agile contributed to the HVAC design, energy modelling and Greenstar submissions for this project.
