CLIENT: BODY CORPORATE
The St Luke’s Gardens Apartments development was built between 2003 and 2011 and includes 285 units across multiple buildings. All the buildings have weathertightness, passive fire and services defects and require seismic upgrading. The focus is to complete the project and reinstate the correct asset value to the Body Corporate.
The design works are being carried out in multiple phases. Investigation and destructive testing works have been carried out on several test apartments to ensure that the design is as well informed as possible about the issues that will be encountered during construction.
The physical works for the first Block was tendered at an early stage so that a contractor was able to provide Early Contractor Involvement to the design process. Remediation works commenced in mid 2019 and are expected to continue until mid 2025.
